Vocal Cover is creto’s singing voice conversion workspace. It uses an original song and a vocal reference to aim for a different singing timbre while retaining the musical performance. It differs from Cover, which creates a new arrangement.
Current availability
New Vocal Cover processing is currently unavailable. You can explore the workspace and open existing covers in your account. The page checks availability before a request can be reviewed or submitted.
Prepare a vocal cover
- Choose an original song from Library or prepare an audio file you have permission to use.
- Prepare a clear vocal reference with permission from the singer. Use material that represents the voice you intend to work with.
- When processing is available, review the source, voice reference, pitch and credit quote before confirming. Supported completed jobs can include full-song and isolated-vocal results.
For singers and demo makers
A practical use is comparing a permitted vocal timbre on your own demo before recording a final take. Voice conversion does not guarantee an identical singer, improved tuning or a particular artistic result.
Does a reference give me rights to a person’s voice?
No. You must have the necessary permissions for the reference voice, the source song and your intended use. Do not use the workspace to impersonate someone without permission.
