Use Cover to explore a new arrangement of a song in creto. Start with a track from your Library or an audio file you have permission to use, then describe the musical direction of the new version.
Shape a new arrangement
- Choose a source song or upload supported audio. Use your own recording or material for which you have the necessary permissions.
- Describe the genre, instrumentation and mood. The available source, lyric and instrumental controls depend on the selected model.
- Review the credits and create the cover. Follow progress in History, then compare the completed song with your original in Library.
A practical cover direction
For a home-recorded guitar demo, try: “Reimagine this as a spacious indie pop arrangement with gentle electric piano, rounded bass and restrained drums. Build gradually toward a fuller final chorus.” This is a written example, not a promise that every musical detail will be preserved.
Choose the right tool
Cover generates a new interpretation and can change the arrangement and performance. If your goal is to change only the singer’s timbre, explore Vocal Cover instead. To edit recorded audio locally in a desktop browser, open Audio Studio.
Will it reproduce the original exactly?
No. Results vary by model and source. Treat a cover as a new interpretation and listen carefully before using it in a project.
Can I cover someone else’s song?
You are responsible for the rights and permissions needed for both the source material and your intended use. Generating a cover does not grant permission to publish a copyrighted song.
