Edit recorded audio, one part at a time

Work with recorded sound in creto Audio Studio. Use Waveform to edit a recording, or Arrangement to place and mix clips across multiple tracks. You can shape a complete file or a selected range, adjust clip placement and fades, compare tracks, and listen before exporting. Local editing and supported audio exports are free. Open a file from your device, choose an owned recording from Library, or bring available separated parts into one arrangement. An editable Studio project keeps your tracks and audio together for later work; WAV and MP3 exports produce listening files.

What you can do

  • Waveform editing

Select an exact section, cut or copy audio, and apply effects to the intended range. Use native Undo and Redo to compare an edit with its previous state.

  • Multitrack arranging

Place clips on a timeline, adjust their source ranges, move them between tracks and shape fades. Keep vocals, drums and other parts on separate named tracks.

  • Mixing and effects

Adjust track level and pan, use mute or solo while listening, and process audio with the available effects. Choose an export scope that matches the mix you want.

  • Available stem groups

Open a completed Stems result in Audio Studio. Review every available part before adding the named tracks together at the start; one Undo removes that import group.

How it works

  1. Open your audio

Use Project to open a device file, or Library audio to choose an owned recording. A completed Stems result can open its available parts together.

  2. Edit and arrange

Work on the source in Waveform or organize clips in Arrangement. Adjust timing, fades and track balance, then play back the result and revise it with Undo.

  3. Keep an editable copy or export

Download an Audio Studio project to continue editing later. Export supported WAV or MP3 audio for listening, checking the selected range and mix scope first.

Questions before you start

Is Audio Studio free?

Local audio editing and supported exports are free. Account features, cloud Assets, AI music generation and stem-separation services have separate access or pricing rules. Importing available stems does not start a new separation request.

Does my audio stay on my device?

Device files are edited in your browser. Explicit account actions such as saving cloud Assets can transfer selected media. Opening Library songs or Stems retrieves authorized audio, so those workflows require a connection and the appropriate account access.

Can I export WAV and MP3?

Yes. Use WAV or MP3 for a listening copy. Download an editable Audio Studio project as well if you want to keep working with separate tracks and clips; an exported mix does not replace that project.

Can I edit vocals, drums and other stems?

Yes, when the separated parts are available. Choose Open all in Audio Studio from a completed result, review the parts, and add them as aligned tracks. Try the public full-song example without starting a new separation request.

Can I use Audio Studio on my phone?

You can read this guide on a phone, but the editing workspace currently needs a desktop browser window at least 1100px wide. Keep the tab open when resizing to return to your current work; download an editable project before closing it.
